The 2011 Advent Calendar

advent-2011

Being in the main a collection of articles for a selection
of much beloved and respected wargame rules
(and perhaps one or two other more unexpected diversions)

~

Heya Folks,

I must confess to you all that I nearly didn't go ahead with the advent calendar this year, I was thinking of cutting it down to a Twelve Days of Christmas or perhaps even scrapping it altogether. Releasing a piece of content everyday for over three weeks is sheer madness to be honest. The editing, uploading and formatting tasks alone take so much time at the busiest time of year. However after more than a few very kind words from many people both directly and on the Notables Yahoo Group I decided to stick with the annual tradition and run a Countdown to Christmas Advent Calendar here on Orcs in the Webbe (OITW). I'm glad I did, I think you'll all agree that this year was pretty damned awesome.

I'd like to thank everyone who submitted articles, obviously without you there would be no calendar. This year you've outdone yourselves !

I'll be returning to my weekly tasks over on Barking Irons Online from January and OITW will be continuing it's Flintloque Archive Project later in 2012.

So without further ado below is the summary of OITW's 2011 Countdown to Christmas Advent Calendar.

And don't worry the Advent Calendar will return next year ;)

Keep The Flag Flying !
