    Tankard Tales

Orcs in the Webbe is proud to host a number of what would be traditionally known as columns (but these days are probably better known as blog entries) by guest authors who are in some way linked to the content and themes found throughout the pages of OITW.

One of these columns is Tankard Tales, in which the prolific games creator Matthew Hartley gives us glimpses into what he is working on at the moment along with other insights from his world. The column began back in January of 2009 and ran through to 2012. Now in 2014, the tenth anniversary year of Orcs in the Webbe, Matthew's exclusive column has returned.

    Tilting

Tilting is the name of Matthew Hartley's original game representing the Afghan sport of Buzkashi, where teams of mounted players fight for control of the decapitated remains of a goat (it is a real world sport! Just Google it.). Utilising a fast and unique set of rules you can play this somewhat mad and frantic sport with a few friends on your gaming table. The sport, being a bit 'out there' easily lends itself to different settings.
